Press release 8 May 2012
Energy and carbon management firm Pangolin Associates welcomes Mike O’Neill to its growing Sydney operation.
Joint Managing Director Iain Smale says: “There has been strong demand for our services. With the looming carbon price it was opportune to expand our team on the East Coast at this time.”
Mike O’Neill joins the team from the Carbon Trust in London where he helped organisations meet emissions reporting requirements. His wealth of experience extends to product carbon footprinting for the UK’s Carbon Reduction Label.
With the Carbon Pricing Mechanism set to commence in Australia on the 1st July 2012, O’Neill’s experience is invaluable. He’ll work with organisations to comply with new regulations, reduce risks, and find cost savings.
“We are delighted to have Mike on board with us,” says Smale. “His global experience and fresh ideas will benefit our clients as they prepare for changes in the carbon economy.”
O’Neill adds, “I am very pleased to be joining Pangolin Associates. Their focus on clarity, accuracy and quality made it a very easy decision to accept the offer to join their team upon arrival in Australia. I look forward to being a part of their growth over the coming months and years.”
