Pangolin Associates forges partnership with PKF

Press release 1 June 2012

Energy and carbon management consultancy, Pangolin Associates, has forged a partnership with PKF, one of the top Australian accountancies and business advisories.

A joint project requiring NGER assurance (National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting act) was an early successful collaboration between the companies. Pangolin Associates Joint Managing Director, Iain Smale, says: “We have had a long and trusted relationship with PKF. Formalising the partnership is timely; it benefits our clients as they face a changing carbon economy.”

Businesses now compete for contracts with greenhouse gas compliance requirements. With the incoming Carbon Pricing Mechanism, also known as the carbon tax, partnerships formed around climate change services are increasingly part of doing business in Australia.

PKF selected Pangolin Associates for the consultancy’s high level of technical expertise, strong work ethics, and robust environmental certifications. Pangolin gives PKF the ability to provide a full suite of carbon management services, whilst the consultancy benefits from expertise in new tax obligations.

PKF Director of National Enterprise Advisers, Matthew Field, says: “We are very pleased to have Pangolin Associates as our corporate partner, their expertise will compliment our experienced Climate Change and Sustainability team”
