Mike Rhydderch is a Senior Consultant with experience in public and private sectors. He has a background in developing sustainability strategies and policies that provide a clear roadmap to ambitious climate targets.
Mike is a registered consultant with Climate Active for Organisations, and Products and Services. He also has experience with the global benchmarking tool CDP. He helps Pangolin’s clients understand their most material ESG risks, and the appropriate policies and plans that can address these risks.
Before joining Pangolin Associates, Mike worked within the sustainability team at Cushman & Wakefield. He assisted corporate clients in transport, insurance, and advertising achieve their sustainability objectives. This includes Climate Active certification, development of long-term waste reduction strategies, sustainable procurement policies, portfolio resource efficiencies, change management plans, and reporting into national and global frameworks (NGER, CDP). Mike has also worked in communication and in environmental education in local government.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science with the Australian Catholic University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Science Communication with the Australian National University. On a personal level, he believes in walking the walk. Mike reduces his and his family’s emissions as much as possible. He offsets any remaining emissions through the purchase of carbon credits that either sequester or prevent the release of greenhouse gas emissions.
