Natalie joined Pangolin in 2018 as an Emissions and Energy Auditor. Natalie completed her education in New Zealand, with post graduate work in International Business and Trade, and a Master’s Degree in Development Studies. The latter focused on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
While in New Zealand Natalie worked with a small environmental engineering firm with offices in New Zealand and Australia. In this role she was seconded to local government. Her responsibilities grew to include health and safety reporting and monitoring, environmental and general policy work.
Natalie has also worked with several not for profit organisations in the broader development field, including Asian Development Bank agricultural and policy projects in Laos and Vietnam. Her work involved irrigation and broader farming projects, incorporating technical, weather and climate monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
Natalie is particularly interested in sustainable development concerning natural resources and food security.
