Biography

Azra is a Senior Consultant in Pangolin Associates’ Climate Impact team, based in the Melbourne office. She has experience across a broad range of carbon management and sustainability services, including greenhouse gas assessments, carbon accounting, emissions reduction strategies, carbon management plans and Climate Active certification support.

Prior to joining Pangolin Associates, Azra worked as a Sustainability Consultant and Analyst with a boutique consulting firm, where she supported clients across a range of sustainability and ESG initiatives. During this time, she contributed to Sustainability Victoria-funded projects, product stewardship programs and other sustainability-focused engagements.

Azra holds a Master of Environment and Sustainability from Monash University, specialising in Leadership for Sustainable Development. She also holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Deakin University, specialising in Environmental Management and Sustainability, and a Diploma of Conservation and Land Management from RMIT.

Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Azra has completed training in Auditing Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), Introduction to B Corps, and Social Return on Investment Practitioner Training.

Her passion for sustainability and education has also extended internationally. Through a study tour of Nepal, Azra engaged with grassroots organisations, social changemakers and the Fred Hollows Foundation, gaining valuable insights into community-led sustainability initiatives and development challenges.

Outside of her consulting work, Azra is a strong advocate for environmental education and youth engagement. She volunteered with Kids Teaching Kids for more than five years, supporting environmental learning opportunities for younger generations.
