Biography
Hari is a Financial Analyst at Pangolin Associates with a multidisciplinary background across finance, engineering, artificial intelligence and agri-technology. He brings a strong analytical skillset to sustainability and climate-related work, with experience in financial modelling, commercial analysis, infrastructure tenders, reporting automation and emerging technology applications.
Prior to joining Pangolin, Hari worked as a Financial Analyst at Alstom, where he supported the financial evaluation of ANZ infrastructure tenders and worked closely with Commercial and FP&A teams on bid strategy, forecasting, variance analysis and investment decision-making. He was selected as one of Alstom’s ten global “Top Flyers”, completing finance and innovation training at the company’s Paris headquarters and presenting to the global CFO.
Hari has also held finance roles with Alpha Group and Glencore, gaining experience across pricing strategy, FX analysis, margin optimisation, cash flow forecasting, tax, treasury and strategic briefing materials on hydrogen power and carbon capture initiatives. Alongside his finance experience, Hari worked as a Generative AI Consultant with the University of Sydney Business School, where he assessed practical AI use cases in finance education and decision-making.
Earlier in his career, Hari led hardware and product development for an agri-tech project with Drover, developing an NB-IoT agricultural monitoring device and coordinating technical delivery with commercial objectives. This experience helped shape his interest in the intersection of technology, agriculture, sustainability and finance.
Hari holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Sydney, graduating with First Class Honours. His Honours thesis, awarded High Distinction, explored how electrical signals and machine learning can be used to identify fruit ripeness non-invasively, with potential applications in reducing food waste and supporting more resilient food systems.
Outside of work, Hari has volunteered with Footy for Freedom, supporting efforts to build a sports-focused orphanage in Kenya. He is also passionate about travel, football and the outdoors, having travelled to over 20 countries
