
Clare helps Pangolin’s clients develop strategic approaches to ESG and net zero performance and reporting. Her extensive business background covers large corporate, higher education, and state and local government. Clare’s experience is underpinned by a deep commitment to sustainability and the environment.
Clare worked at the University of Melbourne for thirteen years. As Associate Director of Sustainability, she provided strategic direction for the governance of university activities, overseeing development and implementation of the first institution-wide sustainability framework. Her sector experience includes active participation at board and committee levels in state, national, and global higher education sustainability networks.
Prior to joining Pangolin Associates, Clare provided sustainability advice to Architectus. She contributed expertise for the implementation of the firm’s Sustainability & Resilience in Design framework, and advised on design project bids and environmental aspects of group compliance. Clare’s background also includes seventeen years in business roles at the global energy company, BP Australia.
Clare holds a Master of Environmental Science degree from Monash University, a Graduate Certificate in University Management from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Studies and Bachelor of Business from Deakin University.
