Clare helps Pangolin’s clients develop holistic sustainability strategies for their organisations. Her practical approach to business management is committed to better environmental outcomes. Clare brings a unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience from her professional background and her breadth of academic study.
Prior to joining Pangolin Associates, Clare provided sustainability advice to Architectus, a large architectural design firm based in Melbourne. She helped Architectus achieve Climate Active carbon neutral certification for the organisation. She also advised the firm on environmental aspects of group compliance and provided sustainability expertise to design project bids.
Clare worked at the University of Melbourne from 2008 to 2021. Initially she developed programs that focused on energy and carbon reduction. From 2016 she became Associate Director of Sustainability. In her role she provided strategic direction for the governance of university activities and led the development of the University’s first sustainability framework. The framework included an enduring charter, strategic plan, and annual public reporting structure. In addition to the education sector, her experience extends to 17 years in business roles at the multinational energy company, BP Australia.
Clare holds a Master of Environmental Science degree from Monash University, a Graduate Certificate in University Management from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Studies and Bachelor of Business from Deakin University.
