Julien has twenty years of professional experience in climate change and sustainability consulting services, multiple business development, training, recruitment and project management. He has worked for private and non-for-profit organisations in Australia and France.
Julien holds a Bachelor of International Business, and a Masters in Geopolitics with a speciality in Climate Change. He has a Certificate IV in both Training and Assessment and Environmental Management and Sustainability. He has also participated in the Climate Reality Leadership program (the Climate Reality Project), and in 2019 he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the NSW Police Force (Northwest Metropolitan Region).
Julien provides advisory and corporate sales services in the decarbonisation of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, carbon accounting, mandatory climate disclosures/ASRS, Climate Active certifications, and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). He works across various sectors and industries including agriculture, mining, transportation and logistics, architecture and design, construction, manufacturing and export, waste management, retail and fashion, professional services, education, and government.
Julien is particularly interested in building community resilience to climate change and climate adaptation as it applies to infrastructure, food production, coastal erosion, and nature repair. His interests also extend to the climate impacts on security and international relations, and the concept of degrowth to conserve global resources.
