Lauren is a Senior Consultant with Pangolin Associates. She is also one of Pangolin’s registered consultants for Climate Active certification.
Lauren completed a Master’s Degree in Sustainability at the University of Sydney with High Distinction. Prior to her studies, Lauren had a successful career in marketing and brand management. It was her passion for a sustainable future that steered her in the direction of corporate environmentalism.
Lauren is particularly interested in the business implications of climate change in risk and supply chain management, and the integration of sustainability into corporate policy. Her corporate background equips her with the skills to develop strong business cases for sustainability, and to find opportunities for organisations to innovate.
Lauren’s work with Stockland Property Group involved organisational change to waste management processes. She set up a review of office tenancy waste to improve the company’s Green Star performance rating for waste diversion. A National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) waste audit was also part of this project, and behavioural and operational intervention strategies to promote pro-environmental behaviour in the workplace.
Lauren also holds a double Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Communication from Monash University.
