Louis is based in Pangolin’s Melbourne office. He is an Analyst with skills in team leadership, stakeholder advocacy, event coordination, and climate change communication.
Prior to joining Pangolin Associates, Louis was a Sustainability Officer at the City of Monash. He led the Gardens 4 Wildlife program, wrote the monthly sustainability newsletter, and conducted waste audits to improve recycling rates across the council jurisdiction.
Louis is completing his Masters in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University with a specialisation in Leadership for Sustainable Development. He also has a Bachelor of Global Studies and Science from Monash University majoring in International Studies and Environmental Science. Through these studies Louis has formed a transnational mindset, and with strong technical and social science skills, he brings a solutions-based approach to climate change, its challenges for the business community and the whole of society.
Louis was the elected Environment and Social Justice Office Bearer at the Monash Student Association, where he delivered over 30 events in 2023, including the Monash University Green Careers Day. He was also the President of the Monash Society of Sustainability, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) Student Hub. Due to his work in these roles Louis was chosen as a finalist in the Green Gown Awards Australasia.
During his spare time, Louis enjoys travelling, going on hikes, and spending time with his two greyhounds Otis and Orla. He centres sustainability in everything he does and can often be found engaging in activities like gardening and plant-based cooking.
